If your child is in need of medication during his/her time at nursery you should discuss his/her requirements with the Head of the nursery. Prescribed drugs will be given at the discretion of the Head of the nursery and you will need to complete a form, which authorises nursery staff to administer the drugs to your child. The Head of the establishment will give you the necessary form to complete.

If your child suffers from asthma you must tell the Head or Depute of the nursery if there are any activities or specific circumstances, which are likely to bring on an attack.

If your child suffers from ANY MEDICAL CONDITION you must tell the head of the nursery what emergency procedures to follow and an action plan will be put in place for your child.
